Are you an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar looking for a long-term locum opportunity in one of Ireland's leading teaching hospitals?

Direct Medics is recruiting an experienced O&G Registrar to join the team at University Hospital Waterford, with an immediate start available and cover required through to July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy Obstetrics & Gynaecology department while enjoying life in Ireland's sunny south-east.

Rota

The successful candidate will participate in the on-call rota and must initially be available for the following dates:

• 4 October 2026

• 12 October 2026

• 20 October 2026

• 30 October 2026

• 1 November 2026

• 9 November 2026

• 16 November 2026

Additional rota commitments are expected throughout the duration of the contract.

Essential Requirements

✅ Valid IMC Registration
✅ Right to Work in the Republic of Ireland
✅ Minimum 6 months' experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Registrar level or a similar role within the UK or Ireland
✅ Ability to participate in on-call duties
