The Occupational Health Service require a Medical Office ST3+

Essential Criteria

• Registered with GMC with a Licence to practice

• Can demonstrate appropriate revalidation and medical appraisal history

• Should have completed CT1 CT2 so effectively be at ST3 level as a minimum

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in Occupational Health is preferable.

• FOM Diploma in Occupational Medicine or higher preferable.

Key Duties

The postholder will report to the Medical Lead for OHS:

• Assessment of sickness absence and general fitness cases to provide a report to the employer

• Advice on outcome of health surveillance programmes – depending on level of experience and training

• Advice on Ill health retirement and NICS injury awards – depending on experience and training

• Advice to other clinical staff and OHS business support staff as require

Essential Requirements

• Valid GMC Registration with full Licence to Practice

• Right to Work in the UK

• Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role within the UK
