Emergency Department Registrar (ED Reg) – 6-Month Contract
Mercy University Hospital is seeking a motivated and dedicated Emergency Department Registrar to join its dynamic Emergency Medicine team on a 6-month contract.
Contract Dates: 13 July 2026 – 11 January 2027
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy and supportive Emergency Department within a leading teaching hospital. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams, delivering high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population.
Requirements
Registered or eligible for registration with the Irish Medical Council
Previous experience in Emergency Medicine or a related acute specialty
Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility to work in Ireland

Essential Requirements
Valid IMC Registration
Right to Work in the Republic of Ireland
Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role within the UK or Ireland
