We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Registrar in Emergency Medicine to join a dynamic and supportive clinical team in Tullamore. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy emergency department while working alongside experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Please note this role will involve the rotation to a local injuries unit as part of the roster in Athlone.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting to the department

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute conditions

• Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, and allied health professionals

• Participate in on-call rota and shift work, including nights and weekends

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records

• Contribute to clinical audits, teaching, and continuous professional development

Essential Requirements

• Valid IMC Registration

• Right to Work in the Republic of Ireland

• Minimum 6 months of medical experience in this role or a similar role.

• ACLS/ATLS certification desirable
