Job Description:
We are working in partnership with Trinity Support & Care Services, who are an innovative organisation providing quality assured, safe, and person centered residential care and outreach support services to adults and children with intellectual disabilities.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Person in Charge/ Manager to join their dedicated team based in Castlederg, county Tyrone.
The Manager will lead and develop the service, ensuring compliance and high-quality support in line with Trinity Support & Care Services’ values.
Permanent contract, full time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a person-centred service that promotes dignity, independence, choice, and respect
Oversee referrals, admissions, reviews, and care planning in partnership with families and professionals
Support service users to develop independence and participate in multi-disciplinary reviews
Manage concerns and complaints sensitively and professionally
Recruit, induct, supervise, and develop staff, providing strong leadership and support
Foster a positive, safe, and therapeutic environment for service users and staff
Build strong community links and positively represent Trinity Support & Care Services
Ensure effective administration, rota planning, and safe medication management
Manage budgets, reports, and financial compliance
Oversee health & safety, ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance
Essential Requirements:
Relevant professional qualification in Social Work, Nursing, or a related Health & Social Care discipline
Recognised professional management qualification (HIQA-compliant)
Minimum 3 years’ paid experience in Health & Social Care, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/management role
Demonstrated ability in staff and resource management
Strong administrative and communication systems management
Experience liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies
Right to live and work in the UK
