Job Description:

Direct Medics are seeking dedicated Speech & Language Therapists for the following positions based in Tallaght:

• Permanent Full Time (35hrs) Senior Speech & Language Therapist – Neurology

• Permanent Part Time (17.5 hrs) Senior Speech & Language Therapist - Stroke

Neurology:
Provide specialist assessment and management of communication and swallowing difficulties for inpatients and outpatients with acute and progressive neurological conditions. The role includes instrumental swallowing and voice assessments, and offers opportunities to further develop the Neurology SLT service in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team across clinical care, education, research and service development.

Stroke:
Work as part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary Stroke service, delivering high-quality care for communication and swallowing disorders. The role involves coordinating and developing the service while collaborating closely with the MDT in clinical care, education, research and service improvement.

Both roles offer excellent opportunities for leadership, collaboration and ongoing service development

Requirements:

• CORU Registered Speech & Language Therapist

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification clinical experience

• Relevant specialist clinical experience

• Evidence of full and independent competence in the management of adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders

• Right to live and work in Ireland
