Job Description:

Direct Medics are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists for the following positions based in Tallaght:

• Permanent Full Time Senior OT – Acute General Medicine & Surgery

• Permanent Full Time Senior OT – Inpatient Orthopaedics

Acute Medicine & Surgery: Lead OT services across a range of medical and surgical specialties. Manage complex cases and discharges, support rotational staff, and work closely with senior OT colleagues to develop and implement care pathways.

Inpatient Orthopaedics: Oversee trauma, elective and Orthogeriatric inpatient services. Work within the Orthopaedic MDT, supervise rotational staff, and lead service development initiatives, including an Early Supported Discharge pilot. Experience in splinting and specialised seating for complex orthopaedic injuries is required

Requirements:

• CORU Registered Occupational Therapist

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (international qualifications validated by CORU/Dept. of Health).

• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification clinical experience

• Relevant specialist clinical experience

• Right to live and work in Ireland
